This foundation paper-pieced block finishes at 8” x 20" and can be used in a variety of projects. It is the third instalment in our Canadian Icons Collection. You may wish to make each block as it is released to eventually create a truly unique and very Canadian quilt. This would be a fun quilt-as-you-go project! The cover photo model is made in the Elements collection by Ghazal Razavi for FIGO, but feel free to express yourself in solids, blenders, or small prints.

Techniques: Foundation paper piecing

Project size: Block finishes at 8” x 20"

Recommended tools: freezer paper, add-a-quarter ruler, rotary cutter, 50wt (or finer) thread

Recommended fabrics: Blenders or solid fabrics, may be suitable for small scale tone-on-tones
